Just to pass on a message from Hstuf. Vorwärts. Peter sends his thanks for a great weekend and hope to see you again soon.
I'm sure we were all impressed with their dedication to the game as well as their knowledge. I hope we can have a battle with them next time - lets see if their shooting is as good as their spoken English!

A now fully recovered Anne.
You were missed on manoeuvres on Sunday Anne - glad alls well now. (Oh, and thank you for the dance - haven't done that for 30 years and now remember why
)

chris
I'm really sorry to have missed 'the whole day' on Sunday aswell.
I haven't been that ill for a long time and don't intend to be again any time soon! Barrie told me all about the day though and the pictures are superb.
Yes the dancing was great fun. I'd like to learn the one Steve was showing me, the bilbao or something.
In fact the whole of Saturday evening was a brilliant laugh. Thanks to everyone who made it happen.
I'm sure Barrie will post something later when he gets home.
Anne
I think I must have been outside with one of the german chaps during all this, dont remember any dancing
sounds like it was funny though

Make sure there's some 40s music playing at the next event and I'll give you a demo.

Heh, Jeff threw a wobbly when he found out it could be 30 stopping overnight - he assumed half a dozen or so!
Still, in the end it wasn't that many...

the ladies in the burger van nearly fainted when we told them how many there was of us ![]()
they were only expecting about a dozen or so lol

Remind me never to drink home-made wine from Rhys ever again! Oh and remind me never to mix it with (don't laugh)
a bottle of Lambrini and a hip flask of whisky........A now fully recovered Anne.
All alcohol consumption will be strictly controlled at the next event by the SS Feldgendarmerie, but we may turn a blind(drunk) eye should we be bribed ![]()

Classic quote
Thanks to everyone who put the effort in organising things, we do appreciate the work that goes on behind the scenes.
Best social event yet, helped by a relatively luxurious indoor venue.
I need to do some voice training - after five minutes of shouting (not loud enough apparently) my voice just died on me completely.
I have now been "trained" by the following at various events in my airsoft career.
1 no. ex South Staffords - Gadge
1 no. ex Royal Marine
1 no. ex Royal Green Jacket
1 no. ex ?? - Stubblehopper (three times)
1 no. ex ?? - Sgt Heide
1 no. Headshot
1 no. Guy
And I'm still rubbish!
But I am a tiger rarrrrrrrrr.
I can fill in some of the blanks there - Stubble was in the Parachute Regiment, and Headshot was in the Venture Scouts! ![]()

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
LOL.
I can fill in some of the blanks there - Stubble was in the Parachute Regiment, and Headshot was in the Venture Scouts!
You're damn right there! Preceded by five years as a regular Scout as well!!!
I also did a few tours of several nightclubs during my later teens.
